An exhibition devoted to Yulia Spichak's outdoor sketches — quick studies done from life, often in twenty or thirty minutes, in various places in the Illiez Valley. "Working fast allows me to capture the moment, that fragile instant when light, air, and emotion merge into a single impression", says Yulia.
"These last few years, my walks and sketches have become a refuge of calm for me — a way to face the emptiness and the loss of bearings in the face of the uncertain future, a way to reconnect to what is essential. In the presence of nature, everything becomes simple: the gaze, the hand, the breath. Then the magic begins — one discovers what was invisible, and the soul finds a bit of peace."
A series is dedicated to all those who know how to be moved by the beauty of a fleeting moment.
