Folk music week with Patrizia Pacozzi - Severin Suter | Kultursommer Grächen

Together we explore the musical roots of our homeland and enjoy playing together and experimenting in various formations.

The course includes:
- Getting to know various pieces of folk music from different countries, with a focus on Switzerland
- Insight into the various stylistic functions within an ensemble (melody, accompanying parts)
- Learning the basics of impromptu playing
- Developing a small program in various formations, which will be put together during the course

Target audience: People of all ages, with and without experience in folk music, who are interested in a free way of playing together and creating music (wind instruments, hand organ, plucked instruments, string instruments, piano). Reading music is desirable, but not a prerequisite.

For bookings until the end of February 2024: Adults CHF 580.- Young people (born 1999 or later) CHF 430.- incl. welcome aperitif and unlimited rides on the Hannigalp cable car.
Price from March 1: Adults CHF 635.- Young people (born 1999 or later) CHF 470.- incl. welcome aperitif and unlimited rides on the Hannigalp cable car.
