In 2025, it will be that time again. From August 15 to 30, 2025, the Leuk Operetta Association will present
Emmerich Kálmán's operetta “The Csárdás Princess” on Leuk's main square.
This operetta is a musical fireworks display of Hungarian-Viennese melodies and rhythms. It is a music of
longing that drives the story of the “Csárdásfürstin”: the longing for love, passion
and home.
With world-famous melodies such as:
“Ganz ohne Weiber geht die Chose nicht”
“Ja so ein Teufelsweib“
“Alle sind wir Sünder - Die Mädis vom Chantant”
“Machen wir's den Schwalben nach“
“Tausend kleine Engel singen”
“Das ist die Liebe, die dumme Liebe”
“Jaj Mamám, Bruderherz”
we want to inspire thousands of spectators and take them into the world of vaudeville
theater and thus into a world full of emotions and passion.
