With the purchase of a glass, you can taste wines from over 200 cellars in the canton of Vaud!
The Open Cellars of Vaud in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon and Bex are an ideal opportunity to discover the region's wines in a convivial, festive and authentic atmosphere. Every year on Pentecost, winegrowers come together and open the doors of their cellars to offer a tasting of their best wines.
The winegrowers of the AOC Chablais appellation welcome you in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
In Aigle, the event takes on a special dimension thanks to its picturesque setting in the historic Cloître neighbourhood, dominated by the castle of Aigle and surrounded by terraced vineyards.
This experience is also extended to Yvorne, a charming neighbouring wine village, where the cellars come to life in the centre of the village, offering a pastoral and warm setting for the festival.
In Ollon, several cellars welcome you in traditional and historic buildings located in the centre of the village or directly in the natural environment of the vineyards.
In Bex, the winegrowers await you on the hills or in their cellars, a glass of their speciality in hand.
Visitors can stroll from one cellar to the next, and along the way, discover the artisans of taste, exchange with enthusiasts and taste local specialities. A tasting glass allows you to access all the cellars in Aigle, Yvorne, Ollon and Bex, as well as in the canton of Vaud, free of charge for the two days.
Shuttle buses and walking routes will be available to facilitate travel between the various wine-growing communes.
