The Christmas spirit has arrived at Aigle Market Square!

Enjoy the warm atmosphere with a wood fire, mulled wine, raclette, grilled cervelas sausages and other local delicacies. Add to that quality catering, local produce and wine tasting: the perfect opportunity to get together with family or friends before the festive season.

Programme for Fridays and Saturdays in December:

* Friday 5 December: From 4pm to 8pm, International Volunteer Day

1. 2pm - 3.30pm: Visit from St Nicholas at the Market Square
2. 3.30pm: Trip up to the Castle on the little train (free)
3. 4pm - 5pm: Christmas party and snacks at the castle (free)
4. 5pm - 6.30pm: Procession to the Market Square, then meet St Nicholas

From 5 to 21 December, marvel at the Crèches du Cloître, a magical walk through the historic Cloître district of Aigle. Nativity scenes and figurines come to life in the windows of winegrowers and artisans, while festive decorations enchant young and old alike throughout this magical journey.
