Week-end du Patrimoine d’Anniviers, Val d'Anniviers, 3961 Ayer
A whole weekend celebrating the richness of Anniviers’ heritage.
Discover the living history of the Val d’Anniviers during a weekend dedicated to heritage, knowledge sharing and conviviality. Organised by the Heritage and Tourism Commission of Anniviers Tourisme, in collaboration with the local municipalities and associations, this event showcases the traditions and know-how of all the valley’s villages through the stories and involvement of their residents.
2026 Programme
Guided tours and activities - no reservation required
* Guided tours of all villages in the Val d’Anniviers
* Discovery of the Tiébagette archaeological site
* Launch of André Pont’s book *“St-Luc autrefois”*
* Exhibition of the *Pierre ollaire en Anniviers* project
* Screening of the documentary *“Rose de Pinsec”* by Jacques Thévoz
* Open-air screening of the RTS documentary *“Valais Women in the RTS Archives”*
Special Event: Saurer Bus Anniversary
Two tours, each including three guided visits and complimentary transport aboard the historic Saurer bus, offered by Anniviers Tourisme.
**Reservation required. Limited places available.**
Saturday, 11 July - Saurer Bus Tour
Guided visits of Vissoie, Mayoux and St-Jean (reservation required). See programme.
Sunday, 12 July - Saurer Bus Tour
Guided visits of Ayer, Mission and Cuimey (reservation required). See programme.
**Please note:** Visitors who wish to join one of the village tours included in the Saurer bus programme and travel there independently may simply present themselves at the meeting point without registering.
