As part of the film series "Movies for the Earth," the Valsana Hotel, in cooperation with the Arosa Academy, will present the documentary "Home is Ocean" on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Home is Ocean tells the impressive story of the Schwörer family, who have been living on a sailboat for 25 years while traveling the world's oceans. In the vastness of the ocean, they have found their home, far away from societal norms and comfort zones. All six children were born along the way, each in a different country. Filmmaker Livia Vonaesch accompanies the family for seven years, documenting not only their daily lives but also the challenges of growing up, the search for identity, and the question of what home really means.
