A Shining Secret. Kids Curate Klee

Paul Klee was fascinated by the way children look at the world. His son Felix was to him a constant source of inspiration and ideas. In this context, the Zentrum Paul Klee has invited a group of children aged between 8 and 12 to curate a large Klee exhibition in the course of a 10-month exchange. In dialogue with the experts of the Zentrum Paul Klee, the children developed the theme of the exhibition and decided which works will be shown, how they will be presented and what story they will tell. We invite you on a poetic and mysterious journey around the story of one of Paul Klee’s last paintings. An exhibition by children, for everyone.

The project is a collaboration between the Collection, Exhibitions, Research Department of the Zentrum Paul Klee, the Children’s Museum Creaviva and the community project paul&ich.
