The first-ever Full Moon Skate Engadin will take place on March 3, 2026.
Organized by Engadin Tourism with the support of Odlo, this event invites you to a special cross-country skiing experience under the full moon – in both classic and skating techniques.
Location: Trail access at Bever train station
Between 7:00 pm and 10:00 pm, all participants can enjoy a freshly groomed, approximately 4 km long skating trail from Bever to Spinas. Headlamps are intentionally omitted to allow everyone to enjoy the natural light of the full moon together. A few lights along the trail will provide additional orientation.
Atmosphere & Culinary Delights in Spinas
A bonfire, hot punch, and light snacks await you on the terrace of the Gasthaus Spinas. Those wishing to extend the evening with a meal are warmly welcome at the Gasthaus Spinas (table reservations recommended: +41 81 851 19 20).
Breathe & Stretch with Ursina Badilatti
At 8:30 p.m., a stretching session with yoga teacher and former top cross-country skier Ursina Badilatti will take place on the terrace – ideal for loosening muscles after a day on the trails.
Return Trip
The return to Bever is at your own discretion: cross-country ski back through the moonlit night or comfortably by the Rhaetian Railway (departure at 9:37 p.m. or 10:39 p.m. from Spinas towards Bever). Participation in the event is free of charge, but registration by 10:00 a.m. on the day is mandatory. A valid trail pass is required. In the event of a last-minute cancellation, registered participants will be informed by noon. Photos and videos will be taken during the event for communication purposes. Participants are responsible for their own insurance.
