John M Armleder

The internationally renowned Geneva-based artist John M Armleder (\*1948) has been tirelessly exploring various artistic movements, practices and media for forty years. His Œuvre is characterised in particular by a constant questioning of expectations regarding art, its value and its presentation. The exhibition in Biel focuses on the artist’s graphic work and presents several hundred drawings in a unique arrangement. These are complemented by paintings, sculptures and installations, some of which have been created from found objects in Biel.
