Winter discovery of the Christmas story at the Katzenloch fireplace.
The Diemtigtal forest nativity scene, designed with large wooden figures, brings the Christmas story to life at the Katzenloch fireplace. In the often hectic days leading up to Christmas, it offers a place to pause, find peace and reflect on the significance of the Advent season.
The walk to the forest nativity scene takes around 15 minutes and starts at the Oey market square (parking lot) and is also ideal for families with small children. The forest nativity scene is at its most beautiful at dusk. So that it can also be reached easily in the dark, it would be an advantage to bring a headlamp, flashlight or lantern.
Due to the change between warm and cold temperatures, the path is slippery in some places. Good footwear is recommended.
