During a week-end, the Castle of Gruyères celebrates the St. John’s day and presents a medieval fair.
Potters, tailors, smiths, apothecaries and weavers are staying behind the stalls. Bakers and chefs spread the scents of their dishes. Acrobats and musicians spin in the crowd.
From the court to the gardens of the castle, the medieval companies reveal the traditions and the know-how of the XVth century. Discover how craftsmen worked the material and taste the products of formerly. With the rhythm of former days musics, dance around the St John's fire and admire the jugglers and the tamers of fire.
