Wonderful sporty autumn circular hike from the pretty mountain village of Isenthal. Good opportunity to combine with the craft market in Isenthal the next day.
Wonderful, sporty autumn circular hike from the pretty mountain village of Isenthal. We hike over the mostly wide ridge above the Mittagsflue to the Schartihöreli summit and then continue over the Wanggrat ridge down via Chlital back to Isenthal. On the ascent, we enjoy the magnificent views over Lake Uri and the Reuss Valley and, after the summit, above all over the Chlital with the imposing Uri-Rotstock, Schlieren and Gitschen as a mountain backdrop.
