Swiss hiking night in Jaun

During this year's evening hike, you will experience the local tradition of alpine Bénichon followed by night-time wildlife observation with a local photographer. Our hike starts at the castle ruins in Jaun. From there, we proceed over the Alp Untere Allmend, past the Ritzli Alp to the rustic Alp Oberer Euschels. There, the traditional alpine Bénichon awaits you. Accompanied by folk music, yodeling, and dancing, you will be treated to culinary delights, a true cultural heritage of the region La Gruyère. On the way back, the local wildlife and nature photographer Bastien Ruffieux will share insights into his passion. He will explain how to observe fauna and flora at night.
