Guided hike from Le Locle through forests and pastures with explanations by Alain Tschanz, a former forestry expert. Along the way, discover this unique ecosystem. At noon, enjoy the traditional Neuchâtel Torrée around a large fire before returning together to the starting point.
* Start and finish location: Château des Monts, Le Locle. Please use public transport or carpooling. Parking is available at the museum.
* Route: Moderately difficult 10–12 km route (approx. 4 hours of actual walking time), suitable for all, but not suitable for pushchairs.
* Equipment: hiking boots, optionally poles, weather-appropriate clothing, water, bring your own plate, glass, cutlery and napkins.
* Meal: authentic Neuchâtel Torrée with sausage, cabbage, potatoes and a drink of your choice (apple juice or AOC Pinot Noir).
* Price includes: guided hike and lunch, including drinks (red wine or apple juice).
* Weather: takes place even in bad weather (route adapted for shelter during the meal). Cancelled in case of fire ban or stormy rain.
