SongCamp - Weekly musical groups for kids, in Feldmeilen!

We are already running two weekly musical groups for kids in Herrliberg, as well as our popular musical theatre ‘Camps’ in the school holidays!
Now, we are starting a new weekly course for kids in the middle of Feldmeilen - and for the first time ever, this will also be offered to the very little ones 🙂

The courses will take place on Wednesdays between 2pm and 5pm. During this time, we will run three different music sessions: one for children between 3 and 5 (“The Bees”), one for children between 6 and 8 (“The Peanuts”) and one for kids between 9 and 12 (“The CoolCats”). Each group lasts 50 minutes. The groups will be arranged depending on which age group has the majority in a particular slot - we therefore need your bookings as soon as possible!

The sessions will begin in mid March and will take place in the wonderful Yoga studio in the 'Saphiraz', directly opposite the Aldi/Denner and Gym in the center of Feldmeilen. Parking is available.

The little 'bees' will sing with us, play some musical games and have creative fun with music in general! Parents are welcome to attend with their children. The 'peanuts' will learn cool songs with us, practice some singing techniques and rhythms, do some Rap and dance! The 'CoolCats' will do all that too, in addition to some other challenges, like harmonisation, acting and a spot of songwriting! This will be a very positive, creative and social experience for your children, who will have fun and learn a lot. Music frees, strengthens, heals inhibitions and shyness. It helps with concentration, improves physical and mental states, increases performance and promotes self-discipline. It moves the whole person and leads to a strong sense of community. Children instinctively love to sing and do so freely, provided they are not discouraged. It is important to find the courage to work with this wonderful form of self-expression.

Who we are:

SongCamp is much more than just a kids choir: the founders and instructors are Szabina Schnöller - a professional PhD Classical/Opera-singer and vocal coach - and Mike Pehrsson - a Rock/Pop studio musician, multi-instrumentalist and music teacher. Both have twenty years experience each on stage, in studios and as musical teachers for kids. There are several children's choirs in the Zurich lake area, but there is none as complete and progressive as SongCamp: the coolest and most creative musical activities for kids this side of the alps!
