TÉLÉVISION - My name is Fuzzy (CH)

After the Septante-Quatorze and Vedette 93 installations at the Usine à Gaz in 2021 and early 2023, My Name Is Fuzzy (Bastien Bron in civilian life) presents Télévision, his first live art project.
Fuzzy, a successful singer who had fallen into oblivion, has just died. While the circumstances of his death are still unclear, a television programme pays tribute to him. It's a retrospective that focuses on his songs, looking back at the successes and failures that punctuated his highly uneven career: a mixture of luck, opportunism and haphazard talent.
Télévision is both the live broadcast and the production, cobbled together before our astonished eyes. The tour de force here lies in the fact that the programme is constructed using various visual devices such as models, miniature characters and green backgrounds. The magic works. On the stage, which looks more like a teeming laboratory than a TV set, there's no Michel Drucker on the horizon, just technicians, announcers and musicians bringing the sets to life. In the midst of this huge workshop that is busy creating reality, Fuzzy performs the true-false story of her life live.
