Activity organized in partnership with the Tourist Office of Romont and its region, for the FribourgRando guidebook.
You can eat them and they're good for you. On this hike from Vuisternens-devant-Romont, led and guided by Cathy Roggen-Crausaz, mountain guide, and Emanuel Roggen, druggist with a passion for botany, we'll discover plants that can be eaten and/or are beneficial to our health. We'll learn to distinguish between edible and poisonous plants, and how to use a few medicinal plants along the way. Through stories and anecdotes, we'll learn to recognize the main herbs in nature's first-aid kit and larder. Picnic lunch on the way (bring your own).Children must be accompanied by an adult.
