26rd edition of the Villeret-Chasseral-Villeret race

First stage of the 3rd edition of the [Grand Chasseral Trail Series](https://grandchasseraltrailseries.ch/) challenge

VCV: three letters that stand for a unique and original race in the heart of the Chasseral Regional Nature Park. Organised for the first time in early September 2000 by a small group of running enthusiasts from Villeret and the surrounding area, the VCV is now firmly established as a classic mountain race. A mini Sierre-Zinal for some... a challenge similar to that of Val de Travers for others, the Villeret-Chasseral-Villeret foot race is ultimately one of a kind. Over the years, the VCV has earned its stripes in a running calendar that is as rich as it is varied. Combining popular enthusiasm and conviviality, it appeals to elite athletes and casual walkers alike.

Three routes to choose from:

* The mountain goat 25.6km, 1000m elevation gain: First stage of the 3rd edition of the GCTS challenge, available in the Popular or Runner category.
* The marmot 12km: available in the Popular category only.
* The squirrel 2km: available for schoolchildren.
Registration online or in person (at the Villeret municipal complex) on the following dates:

* Friday 4 September 2026 from 5pm to 7pm
* Saturday 5 September 2026 from 7am until 30 minutes before the start of the relevant category
