Frauenturnverein Affoltern am Albis

The Affoltern am Albis Women's Gymnastics Club was founded in 1928. The club's aim is to contribute to the health of its members through its gymnastics and sports programs. Furthermore, the club seeks to foster a sense of community and camaraderie. The club is politically and religiously neutral. The sports program consists of gymnastics classes held every Monday evening. These classes take place in three different groups, starting at 6:30 p.m. in the upper gymnasium in Butzen. The training includes fitness, body shaping, coordination, balance, strength and endurance, as well as step aerobics. In addition to the gymnastics classes, the club organizes annual programs including trips, barbecues, a mini-golf tournament, and a St. Nicholas celebration. There are also separate Wednesday hikes, which are not officially organized by the club. The programs are designed for women who enjoy exercise and gymnastics.
