Sci Club Airolo

About us

The Airolo Ski Club is an association with a history dating back to 1904, born from the desire of farmers and soldiers to have a safe means of transportation during the winter. Today, the club focuses on teaching the basics of competitive skiing, both in slalom and giant slalom. The Airolo Ski Club serves approximately one hundred athletes, divided into age groups. These groups include Minicuccioli (Mini-Cuccioli) and groups for the U11/U12, U14/U16 "R" (Red), JUN/SEN (Junior/Senior), and Masters categories, where the "R" indicates preparation for competition. The club also offers open days to introduce participants to the world of competitive skiing. Furthermore, the Airolo Ski Club organizes or hosts various competitions, such as the Migros Grand Prix and the Migros Ski Day, the latter also open to families with children with disabilities. The club's primary target audience is young people who wish to learn and develop their skills in competitive skiing.
