Filarmonica Alta Leventina

The Filarmonica Alta Leventina is a musical association born from the merger of the bands of Piotta and Airolo. It aims to participate in community life through band music played by its members. The Filarmonica offers musical activities through its main ensemble, the Minibanda, a brass quintet, and a saxophone ensemble. The club also runs a music school in collaboration with the Conservatorio della Svizzera italiana for instrumental training. The Filarmonica's target audience is primarily musicians residing in the five municipalities of the Alta Leventina, from young students to approximately fifty active musicians of all ages.
