About us
The Lenzburg Officers' Association (OGL) was founded in 1859 with the aim of military training, mutual instruction, and camaraderie. It has successfully implemented these principles for over 150 years. The OGL's social life is characterized by engagement in security policy, extracurricular activities, sports, and fellowship. The association reflects on the present and future of the Swiss Armed Forces through events and lectures and actively participates in combating anti-military initiatives. Traditional events include the Schinznach Stroll, the Sausage and Wine Orienteering Race, and the Lenk Winter Mountain March. The OGL offers its members continuing education in security policy and military history, as well as current information on the Swiss Armed Forces. Furthermore, it provides opportunities for sporting activities in a friendly atmosphere, including through a sports section and an equestrian section, and a vibrant social life with interesting events. Maintaining a strong network and a commitment to the Swiss Armed Forces are also important pillars of the association. New members are warmly welcomed.
