Fanfare La Cécilia

The La Cécilia Brass Band of Ardon is a musical society founded in 1884. It comprises around forty musicians who meet once or twice a week to prepare for their concerts and various events. The club also offers a Music School. This school allows students, starting in their first year of school, to learn music theory before beginning to play an instrument, generally from their second year of music theory. Young musicians have the opportunity to play together in La Muscadine, the Cécilia youth band, during rehearsals in a relaxed atmosphere. A music camp is organized during the summer to allow young people to improve their skills and strengthen their friendships. La Cécilia therefore welcomes musicians of all ages, from those starting out in music through its school to the experienced members of the main band.
