Ski-club Ballaigues

The Ballaigues Ski Club is an association whose aim is to introduce and promote skiing and snowboarding, and to share this joy with the youngest residents of the village and surrounding areas. The club welcomes skiers and snowboarders of all ages. Children are admitted to the Youth Organization group (OJ) from the age of 8, regardless of their skill level. They are supervised by the club's instructors and ski in small groups, with mornings dedicated to learning and improving their skills. Young people who have finished their schooling are invited to join the club as members and can become instructors themselves. Adult members of the ski club can also participate in outings. In addition, non-members, particularly parents of OJ members, can accompany the various outings to ski for pleasure and take advantage of the group discount. The club also organizes bus trips to the Alps. The club also manages the Chalet des Cernys, which is open to hikers on Sundays during the winter months, offering hot and cold drinks.
