SAC Interlaken

The Interlaken section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) unites over 1,400 people who share a passion for the mountains. This club offers its members tours, excursions, and various events throughout the year. The section maintains three mountain huts for its members and organizes over 180 tours and events annually, planned and led by volunteer guides. The club also offers mountaineering training courses and is committed to promoting mountaineering in a pristine environment. The section's youth organization, the JO, also offers programs, including children's mountaineering. Furthermore, the section provides information about its mountain rescue service, which assists people in distress in the mountains. The target group includes everyone interested in the mountains, regardless of age, gender, religion, language, or origin.
