Scout Mittel Vedeggio

Scout Medio Vedeggio is an educational movement for children, teenagers, young adults, and adults from the municipalities of the middle Vedeggio valley, including Lamone, Cadempino, Manno, Gravesano, and Bedano. The group was founded in 2006 from the merger of two previous sections. The Scout movement aims to develop the full potential of each individual, taking into account their needs and desires. Our weekly Saturday afternoon activities, mini-camps, and summer camp aim to provide age-appropriate experiences in a variety of settings. We offer a program divided into branches, starting with Beavers (ages 5 to 7), followed by Cub Scouts (ages 8 to 10). Then there are Explorers (ages 11 to 15), and Pioneers (ages 15 to 17). Young adults are part of the Rover branch, which is dedicated to serving the section. Activities include treasure hunts, orienteering races, pioneering constructions, hikes, vigils, nature games, and community service activities. Scouting allows members to develop relationships with themselves, their bodies, others, things and the spiritual dimension.
