Stiftung PanEco

The PanEco Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Berg am Irchel, Switzerland. It is dedicated to nature and species conservation as well as environmental education in Switzerland and Indonesia. The foundation operates a holistic orangutan and rainforest conservation program in Sumatra. In Switzerland, PanEco runs the Berg am Irchel Bird of Prey Sanctuary, where injured birds of prey and owls are cared for. The foundation also operates the Thurauen Nature Center in the Zurich Wine Country, which provides access to the largest floodplain conservation area in the Swiss Plateau. PanEco offers programs for schools and teachers. Members have the opportunity to sponsor an orangutan or a bird of prey. The foundation welcomes anyone who wishes to support nature and species conservation.
