The Milizia Napoleonica Aquila is a traditional militia. It was founded to fulfill a vow made during the Russian campaign of 1812. Its members uphold this historical tradition. The militia offers the opportunity to maintain time-honored customs. They participate in the celebration of Our Lady of Aquila, wearing their historical uniforms and taking part in the procession.
