Guggenmusik "La Pacotière"

Guggenmusik La Pacotière is a friendly, lively music society comprised of approximately 35 enthusiastic musicians, united by their passion for carnival revelry. Our association aims to create unforgettable moments for audiences during our performances in Switzerland, France, and Belgium, as well as at harvest festivals, youth festivals, and village celebrations. Our repertoire consists of popular music and is refreshed each season with new ensemble compositions and percussion arrangements to ensure diversity. La Pacotière provides its musician members with a costume and an instrument. We also offer musical training if needed to join our ranks. Musicians participate in rehearsals held on Monday evenings from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm, from September to March. Membership also includes participation in four to six performances annually and contributing to the society through an annual fee of CHF 120. We are currently recruiting musicians, particularly for sousaphone, trombone, and euphonium. The club also has a social club that brings together current and former members in a friendly atmosphere, without formal status, to maintain connections through social gatherings and an annual dinner. Guggenmusik La Pacotière is for people with a passion for music and the festive spirit of Carnival. It particularly targets musicians eager to play in a dynamic group and join a friendly, musical adventure. Those without formal musical training are welcome and will receive instruction.
