Cooperativa Agricola Viano

The Viano Agricultural Cooperative was formed from the merger of the Viano Trebbiatrice Consortium and the Viano Agricultural Cooperative, with the aim of uniting traditions and forging an innovative path. The association is committed to preserving the original social spirit that led to the creation of important community assets. Among the historical and cultural treasures it manages are the only still-functioning threshing machine in Valposchiavo and the wood-fired oven in the Social House, which has been in operation since 1962. The cooperative offers members and interested parties the opportunity to use these historic assets, such as the grain thresher and the bread oven. Additionally, the cooperative is planning courses on meat processing and bread making and is exploring the creation of a smugglers' museum in collaboration with the Valposchiavo Museums. Its target audience is the community and all those interested in preserving and sharing the activities and services related to Viano's historical and cultural heritage.
