Verein Jugendtreff Bürglen

The Bürglen Youth Center is an open youth work program. It offers a welcoming space for all young people, regardless of nationality or religious affiliation. Young people can come and go freely and without obligation, without any pressure to buy anything. It provides a meeting place to socialize and spend time out in an age-appropriate way. Young people can help shape the center's activities. From the first year of secondary school onward, young people are welcome as guests. From the third year of secondary school, there is the opportunity to join the supervisory team. Members can actively participate in the youth center, learning to take responsibility and organize events as a team. The association promotes self-development and offers space to explore talents and realize one's own ideas. The board and the operations team support and guide the young people in this endeavor. On regular youth center evenings, young people can meet up with friends and get to know new people. There are relaxed games at the foosball table or pool table. The supervisors provide a lively atmosphere with good music. The kiosk offers non-alcoholic drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. This operation is self-sustaining. Two to three times a year, larger youth parties with DJs are held. These events attract many visitors. At these special occasions, beer is also served in accordance with youth protection laws.
