About us

L'Alouette de Bursins is a mixed choir founded in 1939. This choir comprises around thirty members from the Vaud Riviera, Geneva, and even neighboring France. L'Alouette offers a diverse repertoire ranging from Renaissance music to contemporary works. The choir pays particular attention to the folklore of French-speaking Switzerland and is actively involved in the creation of new works, often composed by its director. L'Alouette also regularly collaborates with other ensembles, notably the Amabilis Orchestra of Lausanne, to perform great classics such as oratorios and requiems. The choir has won several awards in competitions and has performed in Switzerland and abroad. L'Alouette welcomes new singers.
