Fondazione Lamanotesa.ch

The Fondazione Lamanotesa.ch was established after the tragic Marrakesh attack in 2011 to commemorate Cristina Caccia, Corrado Mondada, and André Costa Da Silva and to carry on their spirit. The foundation aims to be a symbol of peace and dialogue. Its purpose is to provide financial, logistical, and practical support to Ticino families when a family member needs to be hospitalized outside the canton of Ticino due to serious illness or injury. The foundation also offers these families a translation service to ease communication difficulties, especially during stays abroad. Furthermore, the foundation promotes musical, sporting, and cultural activities, particularly those aimed at young people, that foster understanding and dialogue.
