Velo Club Capriasca

The Velo Club Capriasca is a mountain bike club founded in 2014. The club's mission is to promote cycling, with a specific focus on mountain biking, as a sport for all young people. The club focuses on psychomotor development, prevention, and health maintenance. The Velo Club Capriasca aims to guide children and young people from the basics of technique to full-blown competitive cycling. Training takes place primarily in the woods around Tesserete. The club successfully participates in cantonal and national competitions such as the Kids Tour, the SwissBike Cup, and the EKZCup. Athletes are divided into groups based on technical ability and age. To ensure a high level of preparation, the club collaborates with the Cardiocentro Ticino and a sports physiologist. The VCC is also an Ambassador and Promoter of Children's Health. The club's core values ​​are professionalism, joy, respect, solidarity, education, and discipline. The courses are designed for boys and girls aged 6 to 17. Training sessions are offered for younger children, particularly those aged 6 to 10.
