The Fribourg Wheelchair Club, or CFRF, is a section of the Swiss Paraplegic Association. The club aims to foster friendly connections among its members and encourages their social, cultural, and sporting activities. The CFRF works to promote equal opportunities for people with spinal cord injuries in society and represents their interests to the public and authorities. The club supports the efforts of the Swiss Paraplegic Foundation and collaborates with other similar cantonal and regional organizations. To achieve its goals, the CFRF offers services in the areas of social and legal counseling, as well as services related to wheelchair sports, culture, and social promotion. Sports practiced within the club include rowing, basketball, handcycling, alpine skiing, water skiing, and tennis. Other sports such as table tennis, floorball, and swimming are also offered. The club is open to people with spinal cord injuries.
