About us
The Fanfare l'Amitié des Monts-de-Corsier is a musical society founded in 1898. It currently consists of twenty-five musicians and drummers, as well as a flag bearer. The band plays as a third-division brass band. The society has its own music school and a drum corps. The band performs at several events each year, including village festivals, a folk market, various parades, and a Christmas service. It also gives two concerts annually. The band regularly participates in the Vaud cantonal competition and the Festival of Light Music. It is a member of the Veveyse Music Association. The band is actively seeking new musicians. It also welcomes passive members who wish to support the association financially. It is also possible to become a music donor. The target audience consists of residents wishing to attend its concerts and events, as well as musicians interested in joining the society or individuals wishing to provide financial support.
