Fanfare Union Instrumentale Delèmontf JU

The Delémont Instrumental Union Brass Band, or UID, is a wind ensemble comprised of about forty musicians of all ages. The association's main objective is to make music in a friendly atmosphere for the enjoyment of all its members. The UID offers a rich and varied repertoire including classical, modern, film, and traditional music. The association also makes it a point of honor to train the next generation of musicians. To this end, it has a music school that welcomes children from the age of three with the "Musical Elves." Older young musicians, from the age of seven, can join the "Solfège Adventurers," "Mini-Cadets," or "Cadets" groups, where they rehearse and hone their skills. Members benefit from the pleasure of playing in a group, making new friends, and learning from other musicians. The association is managed by a committee that deals with administration, finance and logistics, while the music committee manages the purely musical aspect, including the choice of works.
