About us
The Association of Vaud Women Farmers of Croy and the Surrounding Area was founded in 1943. Initially, it helped female farmers cope with economic difficulties by organizing group purchases of flowers and vegetables. Today, it has about forty members from diverse backgrounds. The group is committed to preserving the region's agricultural cultural heritage, particularly through the promotion of culinary traditions and seasonal customs. Its current missions are to develop a spirit of solidarity and mutual support, and to foster collaboration and good relations among its members and with their community. The association offers its members various regular activities, such as cooking classes, craft workshops, seasonal outings, and charitable initiatives like the "Cushions of the Heart" project. It also shares recipes for bread, meals, and desserts. The target audience consists of people interested in these values of solidarity, good relations, and commitment, and who wish to participate in the life of this local group.
