GPTicino

The Ticino Paraplegic Group, or GPT, is an association dedicated to promoting inclusion, active participation, and the well-being of people with spinal cord injuries and motor disabilities. The association offers social support and counseling to its members. Furthermore, the GPT organizes a wide range of sports and recreational activities to create opportunities for meeting and bonding. Sports include wheelchair basketball with the Ticino Bulls, Powerchair Hockey with the Cyber ​​Falcons, and handcycling with the Insuperabili, as well as other activities such as swimming, tennis, ping pong, yoga, and cross-country skiing. The association is also committed to awareness-raising initiatives and advocating for the interests of its members. The GPT is affiliated with the Swiss Paraplegic Association. The association's target audience includes people with paraplegia, quadriplegia, and other motor disabilities, as well as family members, volunteers, coaches, and supporters who share the values ​​of inclusion.
