Aquariumverein Danio Rümlang

We are the DANIO Aquarium Society, founded in 1935/36. Our society promotes the species-appropriate keeping of animals in aquariums and is committed to nature conservation. We offer our members regular meetings, the so-called DANIO get-togethers, for socializing. We organize informational events and lectures by aquarium experts. An important annual activity is the DANIO Swap Meet, where aquarists can buy fish, shrimp, other aquarium inhabitants, and plants. We also hold a barbecue or brunch in the summer, as well as an annual general meeting. Our society welcomes aquarists of all ages and experience levels; beginners are also warmly welcomed.
