Tennis-Club Weihermatt Urdorf

TC Weihermatt Urdorf is a tennis club founded in 1968 and currently boasts 286 members. The club offers a beautiful facility with seven tennis courts in a natural setting. Five of these courts are equipped with floodlights and can be played until late in the evening. Several clay courts have been converted into modern all-weather courts, and courts three and four are covered by an air-supported dome, making them usable year-round during the winter. In addition to the facilities, the club features a clubhouse with a restaurant and its own tennis school. Members can reserve courts free of charge as often as they like during the main season. The club organizes internal competitions, such as the annual club championship in various categories. Participation in the Interclub competition is also encouraged, with the club currently fielding eight teams in different age groups and leagues, including a team in the National League B for men aged 35+. New members, both children and adults, are always welcome, and there are no joining fees. The tennis school offers lessons for children from the age of five and adults to help improve their game.
