Pontoniere Diessenhofen

The Diessenhofen Pontooners are a club dedicated to the sport of pontooning. They offer their members sporting activities such as rowing, poling, ropewalking, and ferry building. They also participate in competitions throughout Switzerland. An important part of club life is the training of junior pontooners, which imparts both athletic skills and pre-military training for the army. Active members are also involved in the construction and operation of ferries. A major annual highlight for the club and the region is the traditional Rhine Festival. The club's target group is sports enthusiasts who want to get involved in water sports and camaraderie, especially young people aged 12 and up for the junior pontooners program.
