Société de musique "Les Armaillis d'Echarlens"

About us

The "Les Armaillis d'Echarlens" Music Society is a musical society founded in 1889. Members are proud to wear the traditional Gruyère costume: the Bredzon for men and the Dzaquillon for women. The society comprises approximately forty musicians. It performs as a brass band, complemented by a drum corps. The musicians rehearse once or twice a week from September to June. The society offers training for young musicians who then join the ranks of the more experienced members. Activities include annual concerts, music camps, and participation in various Girons and cantonal festivals. It also performs at parish and community events. In addition, the society organizes frequent outings, including to Switzerland, France, and Belgium.
