Velo-Moto-Club Räterschen

The Räterschen Cycling and Motorcycle Club (VMC Räterschen) is an active club with around 60 members. Its history spans over 90 years. The club has made a name for itself in the disciplines of cycle ball, road racing, youth development, and touring. Today, the VMC Räterschen emphasizes combining the sporting hobby with relaxed socializing. Members meet regularly for tours on road bikes, mountain bikes, or occasionally motorcycles. The tours take place in the Zurich Oberland, the wine region, Thurgau, and Toggenburg, and sometimes even as far as the Black Forest. The shared experience is central to the rides, which are always tailored to the fitness levels of the participants. Refreshing breaks at beer gardens or traditional wine taverns are an integral part of the tours. An annual highlight is the VMC training week in Italy. In addition, the club offers various events for the entire VMC family, such as mini-golf, brunch, bowling, walks, and an autumn festival. Sport, games, and fun are the focus. The club offers something for young and old alike. VMC Räterschen supports an annual project to promote youth cycling. The club's target group is young-at-heart cyclists and motorcyclists.
