SVP Sektion Erlach

The Jolimont section of the Swiss People's Party (SVP) is an amalgamation of former sections such as Erlach, Gals, Gampelen, Lüscherz, Tschugg, and Vinelz, and was founded in 2010. The association supports the fundamental pillars of the Swiss state, including the Confederation, direct democracy, neutrality, and federalism. The section fosters a regular culture of political dialogue and discussion within its catchment area. This takes place through regular events with guest speakers on key topics and through larger annual events in the form of panel discussions with nationally known figures. The section offers members direct contact with competent politicians and the opportunity to contribute and solidify their own opinions on current issues. It is also open to residents from other municipalities, as it does not actively participate in local politics. Its political orientation is based on the SVP party platform, which advocates for a secure future in freedom and outlines positions on federal policy.
