PTA Pfadi Trotz Allem-Summervogel, Ermatingen

The PTA Pfadi Trotz Allem-Summervogel (Practice Despite Everything - Summer Bird) is an independent scouting group. It belongs to the Thurgau Cantonal Scout Association and the Swiss Scout Movement. PTA stands for Pfadi Trotz Allem (Scouting Despite Everything) and offers children, teenagers, and young adults the opportunity to experience scouting. Many participants require more support and assistance. Participants are divided into different age groups to tailor the program to their specific needs. The activities focus on games, fun, and excitement. The group aims to experience adventures together and explore boundaries. Offerings include regular activities, a Pentecost camp, and a week-long summer or autumn camp. The age groups are called Füürvögel (Fire Birds), Iisvögel (Ice Birds), and Zuugvögel (Migratory Birds). The Night Birds form the leadership team, responsible for planning and running the camps and activities. The Ice Birds meet once a month, and this age group also serves as a gradual transition out of PTA. The target group is children, teenagers, and young adults with disabilities.
