Association des Amis de la Tour de la Molière

The Friends of the Molière Tower Association was founded in 2009 with the aim of safeguarding the remains of the medieval tower in Murist and promoting activities related to the site. Our primary commitment is to enhance this heritage by supporting its use in a way that respects its history. The Association actively works to rehabilitate the green spaces and improve access to and visibility of the tower, in collaboration with the municipality of Estavayer and the Canton of Fribourg. This includes exterior improvements such as the repair of access paths and the installation of infrastructure, as well as interior work such as cleaning and restoration. The Association organizes visits, including guided tours by reservation. It also offers community events, such as clean-up days and festivities. Those interested in supporting these efforts can become members, pay annual dues, or make donations. The Association welcomes all those who wish to contribute to the preservation of this historical monument and its surroundings.
