Turnverein STV Fahrwangen

The Fahrwangen Gymnastics Club (STV Fahrwangen) was founded in 1881. It promotes gymnastics for all ages and abilities. The club fosters appropriate training, competition, and recreational opportunities. Special emphasis is placed on the mental and physical development of young people. The STV coordinates the activities of its various groups. The program initially includes intensive play to prepare for the floorball tournament and the winter volleyball championship. This is followed by training on the horizontal bar and parallel bars for the gymnastics competitions in the summer. Those not participating in competitions train in track and field and the all-around skills test, which emphasizes speed, agility, precision, and teamwork. The second half of the year is dedicated to preparing for the club's annual gymnastics show or recreational activities. Social events such as the end-of-season gymnastics show, club trips, a Christmas celebration in the woods, and a ski weekend are also an important part of the club's activities. Volunteering at village events is also an integral part of club life. The target group is anyone who is enthusiastic about gymnastics and wants to be part of a community that promotes physical activity and camaraderie.
