Bürgermusik Gams

The Gams Citizens' Band is a wind ensemble with approximately 30 active members. The average age of these members is around 35. The band places great emphasis on fostering a sense of community between young and old. The Gams Citizens' Band actively contributes to the cultural life of Gams. They perform a wide variety of musical styles, with a strong focus on contemporary music. A summer concert and a church concert are held annually. The band actively supports young musicians studying at the Werdenberg Music School, including by lending them instruments. The Future Band Gams is the band's youth ensemble, where young musicians from Sax, Grabs, and Gams rehearse together and gain valuable experience. The band's target audience is music enthusiasts who enjoy making music together in a group setting.
